Hello! My name is Kristin Holzworth (LePore) and I am the designer behind mbl design. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio by the greatest and most talented parents anyone could ask for. They are the driving force towards my artistry, creativity and apreciation of the craft.
I have been freelancing for almost 5 years and work with a variety of clients including → First Interstate Properties LTD., Pure Enchantment, Community Times Magazine, Legacy Capital Partners, Goodman Real Estate, etc.
The first question most people ask me is “what does mbl stand for?” Well, it‘s my nickname given to me by my husband and business partner. It stands for “my beautiful love” something he‘s called me since a few weeks after we met almost 6 years ago. →awwww←
I‘ve always been the creative type, a perfectionist, and a visual problem solver. Always striving for the perfect balance of beauty and utility. I am very passionate about about what I do and take a great deal of pride in my work. My style tends to structured and clean, but I also enjoy taking jobs that allow me to step outside of my comfort zone.
What is your educational background?
I graduated from Kent State University in 2006 with a duel major in advertising and marketing. While there I also studied Spanish, architecture and fashion merchandising. It was not until my final year, when I discovered a passion for the graphic arts. After graduation, I worked as an account executive for the Sun News/Plain Dealer for a few years before pursuing a degree in graphic design.
